Abstract Energy is a Home wear trend for 2020. The key to this trend is to evoke emotion. Expressive and free spirited hand drawn lines fluidly intertwine between abstract blocks of coloured shapes. Rich, jewel-like colours support the expressionist mood create.
Using collages from a previous project, Composed, these shapes were redesigned to produce new designs to fulfil the Abstract Energy theme.
The final collection consists of 6 patterns, which have been implied to a range of kitchen wear items. These patterns however could be used for other home wear items such as wallpaper and duvet sets.
