I was commissioned by friends to produce the main artwork/logo for their new podcast series that they are starting. The podcast is about music and pop culture. With a few ideas from my clients it was a collaborative effort to produce the final design for them.
The Brief: To create a simple effective illustration that is bright and eye catching using retro microphone and headphones. Also incorporating the podcast name: Tuned In with Kal and Lak.

Tried a new composition and colourway
Fitting the writing within the headphones
The client decided they wanted a more rounded font
New font applied to the other composition
Repositioning the writing clearly within the headphone shape.
The final composition was decided as the logo they wanted, I then produced different colourways for the clients as they wanted something more impactful then the above designs.
